A Little Intro:My name, again, is Cynthia Martinez, and I'm a twenty-one years old aspiring designer living in Arizona. I've been having fun with web design as a hobby for about five years now, and have found in that time that it, as well as graphic design, is something I enjoy doing immensely. I love the way design allows you to be both logical and creative, and the way the industry is ever evolving. There's always something new to learn!
Aside from graphic and web design, my interests vary. I love writing, reading, music, and video games, and I have a very strong interest in Japan and Japanese culture that has influenced my design greatly (as evidenced by the layout and many of my print projects).
Most of my experience in web design and html has been gained in school or as a hobby, but I am very eager to gain commercial and professional experience. My experience collaborating with individuals (other designers and clients) on projects thus far been good and rewarding, and I look forward to doing it more.
Skills:
Most of my experience is in HTML-based web design and Photoshop, though I am comfortable creating Flash-based websites, as well. I have experience in the complete Adobe Creative Suite, and am proficient with CSS, HTML, and XHTML.
